I am a graduate of the American Academy of Reflexology of Los Angeles, CA, class of 2014 which has since disbanded when the pandemic hit. The school owner was Bill Flocco of The Flocco Method and pioneer of the first published reflexology article in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990. This training I received there enabled me to sit for the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) Foot Reflexology exam. I received my Board Certification in Foot Reflexology on January 2, 2019 with completion of my required practicum sessions. This certification qualified me to sit for the Hand Reflexology exam by ARCB and I passed it on November 6, 2022.
I'm a professional level member of the Reflexology Association of California.

ARCB recently updated it's new definition of reflexology to be the following:
"Reflexology, an integrative health practice, maps a reflection of the body predominately on the feet, hands and outer ears. It uses unique manual techniques to deliver pressure to neural pathways assisting the body to function optimally."
